About

Matthias Eckhart is a scientist at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. His research focuses on risk identification, quantitative risk analysis, and intrusion detection to enhance the security of cyber-physical systems. Previously, he worked at Amazon on privacy and responsible AI, conducted security research at SBA Research, the University of Vienna, and TU Wien, and developed software at NXP Semiconductors. Eckhart holds a Ph.D. in computer science from TU Wien and earned master's degrees in IT and mobile security, as well as IT law and management, from the University of Applied Sciences JOANNEUM. He has served on the program committees of several international conferences and workshops, including CCS and EDCC.
